Tasmania's Protective Security Policy Framework
Tasmania’s Protective Security Policy Framework (TAS-PSPF) establishes minimum protective security standards to guide Tasmanian Government agencies in protecting the information, people and assets government relies on to deliver services to the community.

Security clearances
Under the TAS-PSPF, people who hold a position that requires ongoing access to security-classified resources must obtain and maintain a security clearance at the appropriate level. A person may also be required to obtain and hold a security clearance if they occupy a position requiring additional assurance about the integrity of the position’s occupant.
